Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan,
Reno Omokri, has said that he has forgiven Omoyele
Sowore, the convener of the
#RevolutionNowMovement and Publisher of Sahara
Reporters for whatever wrong he has done to him.
He said that he is ready to make a generous
donation as his own support to ensure that the
activist regain his freedom from detention.
Sowore had been in custody of the Department of
State Services (DSS) since August 3 when he was
arrested in Lagos.
His counsel, Femi Falana, had approached the court
seeking a variation to the previous bail conditions
which he said could not be met.

He tweeted, “I put aside everything Omoyele Sowore
did to me. I forgive him today. I call on Nigerians
to rally round him. I urge his wife to start a
@gofundme and I promise to make a generous
donation. Let us get him out of jail!
