The former Arsenal manager showed off an impressive physique for someone who has just turned 70, suggesting he is still looking after himself despite many thinking he would retire after leaving the Gunners last year.
And after sighting the Frenchman by the sea in
Doha, a handful of fans took the opportunity to have
a snap with the three-time Premier League winner.
Wenger has been a free agent for nearly a year and
a half, and has always hinted he would soon return
to the game after a host of vacancies popped up,
but has instead worked as a pundit for various TV
and radio stations.
But it’s unlikely the 70-year-old will be able to soak
up the sun on holidays for much longer, as he’s
been heavily linked to the post at Bayern Munich
after Niko Kovac was sacked last week.
Wenger has admitted he has held talks with the
Bavarian club and spoke on the phone with
chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who he said
asked if he was interested in the job.
