Ifeanyi Uba FC bench banned!!!

From the report reaching Young-po reporters, it
was gathered that the technical crew of FC Ifeanyi
Ubah has been banned from sitting at the technical
area for the upcoming NPFL season after failing to
meet the coaching requirements.

According to DiegwuSports, the information was
divulged by a high ranking member of the LMC who
also confirmed this late on Friday that indeed the
2016 Federation Cup winners have also been
notified of the ban.

It should be recalled that in CAF in September has
instructed that the minimum coaching qualification
for coaches in the NPFL should be the CAF Licence
A. A requirement a few a few Nigerian top flight
coaches do not posses. However, our source at the
LMC didn’t reveal whether other clubs in the top
division were affect by similar bans.

According to the ban, Head coach Uche Okagbue
nor any of his assistants will be permitted to be
anywhere around the technical area but can sit in the
stands. It will be interesting to see who will dish
out intrusctions to the team who will face promoted
Adamawa United at Nnewi on Sunday.

Indeed FC Ifeanyi Ubah has been without a grade A
manager since parting ways with Ghanian gaffer
Yaw Preko in 2017 with the banned Okagbue taking
over as head coach.
Despite not possessing the required coaching
requirements, Okagbue lead FC Ifeanyi Ubah to last
season’s post season Championship Playoffs were
the Anambra Warriors finished bottom of the table
losing all five matches. However, the season was
considered a success as FC Ifeanyi Ubah managed
to qualify from its group with relatively unknow
players.

As of the time of this report, every effort made to
contact any member of the management of FC
Ifeanyi Ubah was not successful as they refused to
pick their calls.
