According to the agency, the scan established
Cheruiyot had a brain hemorrhage, only to
succumb on Friday, October 18.
In a tribute message posted on Volare Sports’
Facebook page, the Australian-based firm mourned
the marathoner as “a modest, kind and
appreciative person.”
