Man United vs Liverpool’s EPL clash will hold on Sunday, October 20, at Old Trafford.. But Paul Pogba and David De Gea will not be part of Manchester United squad for this tie.
Manchester United have been dealt with a big blow
ahead of their Premier League match against
Liverpool as the duo of Paul Pogba and David De
Gea have been ruled out.
These two players failed to recover from injuries in
time to face the Premier League leaders on Sunday,
October 20.
Goalkeeper David De Gea suffered an injury in
Spain’s Euro 2020 qualifiers against Sweden in
which it has been reported that he could be out for
two months.
De Gea was immediately replaced by Chelsea’s
Kepa Arrizabalaga, and he will now hand over the
United jersey to Argentine Sergio Romero against
Liverpool.
Pogba on the other hand failed to recover from the
ankle problem he sustained when Manchester
United faced Arsenal in September.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have not dropped points this
season in the Premier League while Manchester
United have only won two encounters.
A defeat for Manchester United in their coming
game against Liverpool could end the reign of
manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is currently
under serious pressure.
