Nigerian Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu
Vincent Ezenwa is 31 today.
The shot-stopper was
born on the 16th of October 1988 in Yenagoa,
Bayelsa State.
Ikechukwu, who currently plays for Katsina Utd FC
made his way into the Nigerian U-23 in the 2008
Summer Olympics where he featured in the qualifier
games.
He finally got the opportunity to join the
Nigeria Super Eagles in 2015 under the then Coach
Sunday Oliseh.
However, after the injury of Nigeria’s
first choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, Ikechukwu was
called up to be part of the Super Eagles squad in
the World cup and Nations cup qualifications by
coach Gernot Rohr and and since then have been an
important member of the squad.
