A man has pleaded guilty to attempting to rob
Arsenal stars Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac.
Ashley Smith, 30, admitted to trying to steal
watches from the pair and is set to be sentenced
on November 1.
Ozil resorted to a high speed chase in his G-
Wagon before eventually seeking refuge in a
Turkish restaurant on July 25.
Luckily, both players were uninjured after the
alleged robbery attempt.
Footage which went viral in the July incident
showed Kolasinac, who has for a long time been
nicknamed The Tank, trying to fend off two men
during the alleged robbery.
In the footage, both the attackers were seen
wearing helmets and dark clothing as they
ambushed the two players.
