Chelsea Brace For £70 Million Raid From Real Madrid, Juventus For Star Ace

According to Sport, as cited by The Sun, Real
Madrid are ready to rival Juventus in the pursuit of
N’Golo Kante. The Chelsea midfielder has been
identified as the latest target for the European
giants, though the player’s former manager Maurizio
Sarri at Juventus, is also interested. The Italian even
believes that he could sign the midfielder for just
£70 million.
Kante initially moved to Chelsea back in 2016, after
an incredible campaign with Leicester City, helping
the Foxes miraculously win the Premier League
title. He joined the club for a fee of £32 million,
which later turned out to be an absolute steal.
Indeed, Kante helped Chelsea win the Premier
League in his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.

And while the Blues did struggle afterwards, the
Frenchman was the only real consistent performer
for the Blues within the past couple of years.

The ex-Leicester City star was given a slightly
advanced role by Sarri last season, which helped his
overall game. But, Kante has been rather unlucky
with injuries, of late, notably suffering from three
different spells on the sidelines since the start of
the 2018/19 campaign.
Should Chelsea keep hold of Kante?
Kante returned to full fitness earlier in the middle of
last month. He has since featured in two Premier
League matches, notably starring in the 4-1 win
over Southampton in the last game, where he also
scored his second of the campaign.
As far as Chelsea’s midfield unit is concerned,
Kante is a key component alongside Jorginho.
Although we are yet to witness how exactly Frank
Lampard manages to integrate the Frenchman into
his tactical system, his tenacity and ability to close
down opponent will be useful for any manager in
the world.
Furthermore, Chelsea cannot afford to lose many
key players even though their transfer ban will
expire next summer. This is because the more
critical players they lose, the more they have to
strive in the transfer market for a replacement.
The Blues already need to reinforce their attack and
defence next summer and Kante’s departure, to that
end, could make things really difficult for the board,
especially given how hard it is to sign quality
players in today’s market. Therefore, the west
London giants should their best to keep hold of this
French World Cup winner for as long as they can.According to Sport, as cited by The Sun, Real
